Road Congress convention to be held in Raipur from 8 to 11 November, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to attend

Union Minister for Road Transport Nitin Gadkari will attend the 83rd Annual Session of the Indian Road Congress in Raipur. The event will be held from November 8 to 11 at the Science College Ground in the city.

The session will bring together major developers from every metro city in India, along with construction experts and scientists from countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Australia, Indonesia, and Singapore.

During the four-day convention, discussions will focus on new road construction technologies. The conference aims to determine the most sustainable techniques for building roads in India and specifically in Chhattisgarh in the coming years.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao shared that around 3,000 delegates from across the country will attend the session in Raipur. He highlighted that the event will feature the latest advancements in global construction technology and serve as an opportunity to showcase Chhattisgarh's art, culture, and heritage to attendees from all over India.

The Deputy Chief Minister also noted that Chhattisgarh’s culture, minerals, tourism, and forest resources will be presented during the event. Nitin Gadkari will participate in the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest.
