According to Nevai police, the incident involves habitual offenders Shambhu and Vijay Chaudhary, who reside in Station Maroda. On the afternoon of November 23, around 2 PM, the duo approached Rakesh Singh Bhadoria, who had retired from CISF, near the old liquor depot to borrow his motorcycle. Bhadoria refused to lend the bike.

Enraged by the refusal, Shambhu, along with Vijay, consumed alcohol and returned to Bhadoria’s house around 4:30 PM. This time, they demanded the keys to Bhadoria’s XUV 700. Upon refusal, Shambhu began arguing with Bhadoria, who also reacted angrily.

As Bhadoria turned to go inside, Shambhu and his accomplice forced their way into the house and attacked him with a cutter, injuring his face. Acting in self-defense, Bhadoria fired his revolver, causing the attackers to flee.

Police responded swiftly to the situation, apprehending the suspects, and are now investigating the case further. The incident highlights ongoing issues of habitual offenders and public safety in the area.
