In Sonipat of Haryana, Delhi Police Crime Branch in a joint operation with Haryana STF killed three criminals in an encounter. The criminals belonged to the Himanshu Bhau Gang, as per the Delhi Police Crime Branch.
On 3 criminals involved in Delhi's Burger King murder case killed by police in an encounter, Additional CP (Crime) Sanjay Bhatia says, "In June an incident took place at Burger King in Rajouri Garden in which a person was brutally murdered...Yesterday specific information was received that 3 accused criminals who are gangsters will come towards Delhi and commit a crime in Delhi. That information was shared with Haryana Police and STF team of Sonipat. We intercepted them near Kharkhoda in Sonipat. When challenged, they started firing. In the firing, our people also got shot, the bullet hit the bulletproof jacket. One of our staff members is also injured. In the retaliatory fire, all three miscreants were killed. They have been identified as Ashish Lalu, Vicky and Sunny Gujjar. There are many cases against them and they were wanted in many cases...The lady who was involved in this, we are also searching for her and soon we will arrest her as well..."
