Raipur Crime News: In a shocking incident from the outskirts of Raipur, a mentally unstable man wreaked havoc in the Khora area, leaving the local residents in terror. The incident took place in the village of Korasi, where the youth, armed with a hammer, launched a violent attack on anyone in his path.

According to reports, the 54-year-old man, identified as Dogendra alias Daggu Patel, began his rampage around 5 PM. He was seen wandering the streets, shouting abuses, and randomly attacking people with the hammer. Among the victims was 54-year-old Kirti Sahu, who was returning home when the assailant struck her multiple times, leading to her tragic death. In addition to the fatality, 8 others, including Saraswati Dhruv, were severely injured during the violent outburst.

Upon receiving information, the Khora police rushed to the scene and arrested the assailant. Authorities believe the attacker was suffering from mental illness, though there are suspicions he may have been under the influence of drugs at the time of the attack. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident, and are questioning the suspect to understand the motive behind his violent actions.

The incident has left the community shaken, and the police are ensuring that the necessary legal action is taken. Khoroa Police are currently investigating the matter further.
