The special team investigating the case was formed under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Kirti Rathore, following instructions from the Inspector General of Police, Raipur Range, Amresh Mishra, and Senior Superintendent of Police, Raipur, Dr. Santosh Singh.
