Protesting crowd throws senior police officer to ground, former Chief Minister reacts, watch

Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has reacted sharply to the protesting crowd scuffling with police to the extent that a senior officer gets thrown on the ground. Many others present on the occasion also confirmed that the police appeared on the backfoot and was not handling the protesting crowd adquately.

The ABVP office bearers as well as students were protesting in front of DAV college against the Principal but as police tried to intervene, a scuffle broke out.

Soon enough, the jostling began and a ACP rank senior police officer got thrown to the ground. The protesting students managed to break into the college premises and raised slogans against the Principal in the office itself.

Police eventually had to use mild force to disperse the crowd.
