Priyanka Gandhi Vadra

Congress General Secretary and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra led a delegation of Kerala MPs on Wednesday to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah, seeking urgent financial assistance for the victims of the devastating landslides in Wayanad.

The landslides, which struck on July 30, caused massive destruction in several villages of Wayanad and claimed over 400 lives, leaving hundreds displaced and communities struggling to rebuild their lives.

In a related development, Priyanka Gandhi, who recently won the Wayanad by-election, has been allotted Seat No. 517 in the fourth row of the Lok Sabha under the revised seating arrangements. Prime Minister Narendra Modi retains Seat No. 1, while Home Minister Amit Shah occupies Seat No. 3. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, representing the Opposition, remains seated in the first row at Seat No. 498, alongside SP leader Akhilesh Yadav (Seat No. 355).
