Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Security Breach: Major Lapses in Press Card Issuance for Ken Betwa Link Project Event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi

A major security lapse concerning the safety of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come to light ahead of the much-anticipated inauguration of the Ken Betwa Link Project on December 25.

The event, which will be attended by the Prime Minister, has raised serious concerns following errors in the press cards issued by the Chhatarpur PRO (Public Relations Officer).

In terms of security, this mistake is being considered a significant oversight. The press cards, issued for the Prime Minister's program, were pre-sealed and signed by Chhatarpur Collectorate officials in bulk. Later, photographs were simply pasted over them, without any signatures or official stamps on the photos themselves.

This creates a serious security flaw, as it would be very easy for someone to replace the photo with another, thereby gaining unauthorized access to the event.

Additionally, a glaring mistake was made in the district name printed on the cards, where "Chhatarpur" was misspelled as "Chatarpur." This further highlights the negligence in handling such an important event, which is being attended by the Prime Minister of India.

While the country's top security agencies, police, and forces are working to ensure the safety of PM Modi, the Chhatarpur PRO’s actions appear to be a stark contrast to the level of attention required for such an event. Despite ample time to prepare, the press cards for journalists show clear signs of haste and negligence.

It seems that the cards were rushed, with officials hurriedly signing off on them, seemingly unaware of the gravity of the situation, considering that the Prime Minister himself would be present at the ceremony. The press cards, which were issued to media personnel, lack photographs and were not properly authenticated.

Instead, photos were pasted over the already signed and sealed cards. This kind of carelessness in preparing security documents for such a high-profile event is being seen as a major breach in the Prime Minister's security. Authorities are expected to take strict measures to address this lapse and ensure better preparedness moving forward.
