In poll bound Chhattisgarh, as voting day is nearing the campaign is picking up immensely and senior most leaders are being pressed to woo voters.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to visit Chhattisgarh’s Durg today and he will be campaigning among the voters of Patan where BJP has fielded MP Vijay Baghel against CM Bhupesh Baghel and Amit Jogi of Jogi Congress is also a prominent candidate here.
Patan is thus a high profile seat in Chhattisgarh election and all the other political parties are putting in efforts to woo the most number of voters here.
Rajnath Singh would also be campaigning for Rajkumar Toppo of BJP in Sitapur assembly segment. The second and last phase of voting in Chhattisgarh is to be held on Nov 17.
