As Chhattisgarh gears up for two phased voting to elect the next government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit the Durg district today to address a public gathering.
His visit comes a day after the saffron party issued its manifesto which had some pretty lucrative promises including MSP of Rs 3100 per quintal with surety of one time payment besides domestic cooking gas cylinder to be made available at Rs 500 and Rs 12000 annually for married women.
PM Modi is to hold a public gathering at Ravi Shankar stadium in Durg where he will reach from via road from helipad of Jayanti Stadium. The local BJP sources have claimed that all 20 candidates of the Durg division would remain present by the PM Modi’s side during the programme.
The Prime Minister’s programme comes a day after the state government is rocked by a major allegation from Enforcement Directorate.
