Ahead of the voting day, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made yet another announcement to woo the voters and help Congress prospects in the state.
Speaking to a gathering, CM Bhupesh Baghel announced that Koriya and Raigarh would be upgraded to divisions if the Congress gets voted to power. As he made the announcement, various Congress leaders bowed down to touch the CM Bhupesh’s feet as mark of gratitude.
CM Bhupesh Baghel also urged the voters to ensure that all Congress candidates win so that Congress can then undertake this administrative process.
The announcement comes on the heels of Congress announcing Rs 15000 on an annual basis for the married women to woo that segment of the society.
There are claims from Congress and BJP that they are winning the election but the ruling party making fresh announcements after having formally issued a manifesto is being seen as an indicator of sorts by political analysts.
