A sitting MLA has been fielded again from Raipur North by the Congress party in its third and final list that got released on Sunday evening.
While Kuldeep Juneja has been fielded again from this constituency, there were speculations earlier that other candidates are being considered for the party ticket. The speculations further got a boost when candidature from this legislative segment was kept on hold.
When he finally got the ticket, Congress leader Kuldeep Singh told media, “I am feeling great that Congress party trusted me again…I will make sure that their trust is not broken and I will for the people…”
Kuldeep Juneja of Congress comes up against Purandar Mishra of BJP in the upcoming electoral fight. It now remains to be seen how the other leaders react who were claimants for this seat but were denied the ticket in favour of Juneja.
