Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel releases party’s manifesto, named ”Bharose Ka Ghoshnapatr”, for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state. The manifesto has been formed under the chairmanship of Mohammad Akbar, a Minister in Chhattisgarh cabinet and now a party candidate from Kawardha.
Among the prominent promises made in the manifesto includes loan waiver for the farmers, Rs 3200 MSP per quintal for paddy farmers (which is up by Rs 100 from what has been promised by BJP in its manifesto), free KG to PG education in government institutions as well as free electricity upto 200 units.
The other major promises includes 700 rural industrial parks, Rs 500 subsidy for cooking gas cylinders applicable for all sections, free treatment upto Rs 10 lakhs and APL families will be eligible for Rs 5 lakhs treatment.
