In Agra, Uttar Pradesh, a scandalous incident has emerged involving the assault of a female and male police officer. According to reports, a female inspector in charge of the Rakabganj police station was caught with her lover, a fellow police officer, in a room. The lover's wife, who had long suspected an affair, arrived at the police station with others. Her suspicion proved correct, and she found her husband with the female inspector.

In a fit of rage, the woman beat both the inspector and her husband's lover. The woman and her accomplices severely attacked them, while the two officers tried to defend themselves but were ignored and heavily beaten. The woman reportedly yelled about her distress and the destruction of others' lives, which was witnessed by a policewoman and many onlookers.

Following the incident, senior police officials took action against the female inspector. She has been suspended, and a report against the other inspector has been filed. The incident, which took place on a Saturday afternoon, was captured in a video that went viral on social media. The video shows the inspector and her lover being assaulted by the woman's relatives.

The Agra police commissioner has taken a strict stance, suspending two main constables who filmed the incident and placing six other officers, including two sub-inspectors, on line duty. The entire episode has sparked significant controversy, including allegations that a police officer may have facilitated the arrival of the Muzaffarnagar inspector’s wife.
