One BSF Jawan and three civilians were injured in a fresh unprovoked firing and mortal shelling by Pakistan in Arnia Sector of Jammu & Kashmir. This is the first major ceasefire violation by Pakistan since ceasefire understanding in February 2021. It is learnt that multiple villages are under Pakistan firing.
There are also reports of multiple homes in Jammu’s Arnia suffering damage in Pakistan‘s cross-border firing. The victims describe the harrowing experience, stating, “Pakistan conducted heavy shelling”.
India retaliated to the Pakistan Rangers opening unprovoked firing at Indian posts along the International Border in the Arnia sector in Jammu.

A local says, “We have found three mortar shells so far after overnight shelling from the Pakistan side. No person has been injured in the incident.”
