"..Pakistan will either merge with India or..", CM Adityanath on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day
In a speech at the Partition Horrors Remembrance Day event in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared that Pakistan will either merge with India or be erased from history forever. Sage Aravind had already asserted in 1947 that Pakistan had no real existence in the spiritual realm, he noted.
CM Yogi further stated, "When something does not have a true form in the spiritual realm, it must be destroyed. Its supposed immortality should not be viewed with doubt. We should believe that this will happen, but we must also be prepared. We need to correct the mistakes that allowed foreign invaders to enter India and destroy its sacred sites, integrity, and culture. We must overcome such errors and the tragedy of partition, which includes caste, regional, and linguistic divisions, and work with a nation-first mindset."
Yogi added, "Today, 15 million Hindus in Bangladesh are desperately calling out for their lives, but the world remains silent. Secularists in our country are silent because they are weak and fear losing their vote banks. Their concern for vote banks has eclipsed their sense of human empathy. They will not utter a word to defend humanity because they have fostered and encouraged the same kind of politics since independence. They have continued with 'divide and rule' politics within the country."
Earlier, CM Yogi had tweeted that on this day in 1947, our Mother India, which introduced the world to the concept of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam', was pushed into the tragedy of partition for political gain. He remarked that this was not merely a division of the country but a division of humanity. On Wednesday, marking the Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led a silent march in Hazratganj, Lucknow. During this event, he criticized Congress and the opposition, stating that Congress was responsible for the events of 1947. He claimed that Congress has not changed its character and is still dividing castes for the sake of vote banks. The Chief Minister emphasized that the entire nation is coming together to remember these dark chapters of history.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that history is not just a subject of study but a source of inspiration for correcting mistakes and drawing lessons from glorious moments. The tragedy of partition directs our attention to these lessons. What was the reason that a timeless nation like India, which had remained unified for thousands of years, was subjected to slavery, with its traditions and culture trampled and desecrated by foreign invaders? When India rose and its great revolutionaries and freedom fighters overthrew foreign rule, the nation had to face the tragedy of partition.
