In Darjeeling of West Bengal, India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said during a public address, “Don’t worry. Pakistan occupied Kashmir was, is, and will remain ours. India’s power is increasing…India’s prestige is increasing in the world and our economy is fast progressing. Now our brothers and sisters in PoK will themselves demand to come with India.”
Raking up Pakistan Occupied Kashmir during election campaign is not unusual but the fact that India has lately been pursuing muscular foreign policy in multiple countries, should worry Pakistan also.
That BJP led central government has successfully revoked Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir while bifurcating it into two Union Territories, leads many to believe that the current government under PM Modi may have an action plan after all to take back the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir from Pakistan’s control.
