Operation Sindoor: India Shot Down 2 Pakistani JF-17 Fighter Jets - New Delhi/Jammu. Pakistan’s attempt to launch an attack has been thwarted. Two of Pakistan’s most advanced JF-17 fighter jets were shot down, though the Indian Army has not officially confirmed this. Additionally, eight Pakistani missiles were destroyed. Infuriated by Operation Sindoor, Pakistan made a failed attempt to attack Jammu airport on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
Operation Sindoor: India Shot Down 2 Pakistani JF-17 Fighter Jets. The Indian Air Defense System once again shot down a Pakistani drone in the skies. Pakistan’s attempts to carry out drone attacks in other areas of Jammu were also foiled, with the S-400 Air Defense System destroying the threats. A complete blackout has been imposed across Jammu and Kashmir. Reports indicate that fighter jets have taken off from Jammu airport.
