”…not to indulge in baseless accusation..” all party meet resolves day after explosion at religious gathering

Kerala Chief Minister P Vijayan convened an all party meeting a day after explosions at a religious gathering that claimed three lives and left dozens injured.

After the meeting, the Chief Minister’s Office put out that ”all-party meet in Kerala resolved to urge people not to indulge in baseless accusations, speculation campaigns and rumour-mongering”.

Atleast 3 were killed in blasts during ‘Jehovah’s Witness’ Convention in Kerala‘s Kalamassery. Later a person named Dominic Martin claimed the responsibility of the attack.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar has reacted to the explosions saying, “…Under CM Pinarayi Vijayan, Kerala has shown increasing tolerance towards radical elements and radicalization. Whether it is the Kozhikode attempt to burn a train which would have caused, if he had succeeded over 200-300 deaths and the characterization of that person as being mentally ill till it was revealed that he was an ISIS sympathizer, and that was a deliberate attempt at terrorism. There is a history of appeasement of radical elements by both the Congress and the Left in Kerala…”.
