”…not everyone can come to Australia….”, what Education Minister said to students

Australian Minister for Education Jason Clare explained, “…Today was an opportunity for the political leaders but also the university leaders and the vocational leaders to talk about the changes that we’re making in both countries and how we can work more closely together…450 agreements between our two universities, we’ll sign more today. We already run courses in Indian universities. Now, Australia has an opportunity to run campuses as well and educate more Indian students in India…Not everyone can come to Australia. What we talked about today is that international education is not a one-way street. You don’t have to come to Australia to get an Australian qualification. You can do it here in India…”

The Aussie Minister was visiting Gujarat where Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the visiting Minister for Education Jason Clare held the first Australia India Education and Skills Council (AIESC) meeting in Gandhinagar.
