Non-veg food in student's tiffin, infuriates teacher, video goes viral
A private school principal in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, suspended a nursery student for allegedly bringing non-vegetarian food in his lunchbox. The incident gained attention after a video recorded by the student's mother went viral on social media.
In the video, the principal is seen in a heated argument with the child's mother, stating, "We don't want to teach kids with such morals who will destroy our temples and bring non-veg to school." The principal also accused the boy of talking about converting others to Islam and sharing non-veg food with everyone, allegations the mother strongly denied. She argued that her seven-year-old son couldn't possibly discuss such matters, but the principal claimed the child learned these behaviors at home.
The principal further stated that the student’s name had been removed from the school’s register due to complaints from other parents. The child's mother also pointed out that her son had been frequently harassed by another student, but the principal dismissed her concerns, accusing her of making counter-allegations to mislead the school.
Following the video's widespread circulation, the Amroha Police announced that the District Inspector of Schools (DIS) had formed a three-member inquiry committee to investigate the situation and take appropriate action.
