An initiative is underway to make Raipur district tuberculosis-free. Residents will now benefit from AI technology for the identification and testing of TB, receiving immediate reports. Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh launched a mobile unit for TB identification and testing in the district. As part of this initiative, Dr. Singh himself underwent an AI-assisted test for TB, and the results were promptly available, indicating that he was in good health.

This mobile unit, initiated by Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, will travel to various locations to conduct TB screenings using AI technology, providing instant results. If any symptoms are detected, treatment can begin swiftly.

Additionally, under the Prime Minister's TB-free campaign, Dr. Singh distributed free nutritional food to TB patients through the Nikshay Mitra scheme in the Collector's conference room. The aim is to ensure these patients receive nutritional support for six months while undergoing TB treatment, contributing to the goal of a TB-free Raipur district.

The NGO "School" has committed to becoming a Nikshay Mitra and will provide free nutritional support to 200 TB patients during their treatment period. They plan to distribute food baskets to 1,400 TB patients for six months. Aditya Sharma, the project coordinator for the NGO, expressed their commitment to support these patients. The event was also attended by Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Mithilesh Chaudhary and other officials.
