Minor Dispute Turns Deadly: Man Murders Friend With Iron Rod While He Sleeps; Gruesome Attack Captured on CCTV
A shocking incident has emerged from Pune, Maharashtra, where a young man brutally killed his friend with an iron rod following an argument over cooking. The horrifying act was captured on CCTV. The suspect attacked while the victim was asleep, and the footage shows the assailant striking the victim mercilessly.
The victim, identified as 19-year-old Dipu Kumar, and the accused, 20-year-old Mukesh Kushwaha, were both from Bihar and worked together as caretakers at VKV Automotive in the Chinchwad area of Pune. Reports indicate that an argument had broken out earlier in the evening over cooking duties, which left Mukesh feeling agitated. Later, when everyone had gone to sleep, Mukesh attacked Dipu, striking him on the head with an iron rod.

As Dipu cried out in pain, other colleagues sleeping nearby woke up, restrained Mukesh, and rushed Dipu to a private hospital. Sadly, doctors declared him dead upon arrival. The entire attack was recorded on CCTV, with the footage circulating widely on social media.
Following the incident, Pimpri police filed charges against Mukesh under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and have taken him into custody. This brutal act, stemming from a minor dispute, has left the community shocked.
