Lucknow-Agra Expressway accident, four bodies retrieved after cutting vehicle

In Auraiya, a tragic accident occurred on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway on Saturday. Police had to cut through a vehicle to retrieve the bodies of four individuals who died when their car collided with a stationary dumper. The family was traveling from Noida to Kanpur. 


In a separate incident in the Bela police area, three more lives were lost when a pickup truck struck a motorcycle. 

The first accident on the Yamuna Expressway involved a car crashing into a dumper parked near the village of Harnagarpur in the Arawakatra police jurisdiction. The collision was so severe that the car was completely mangled, resulting in the immediate deaths of four family members. Upon receiving the report, police arrived at the scene and worked hard to extract the bodies from the wreckage. The injured individual was transported to Saifai Medical College.

All the victims were residents of Indira Nagar in Kalyanpur, Kanpur, and had recently moved to Noida. They were identified as Piyush Yadav (the driver), his mother Neeta Yadav, his wife Shivkumar, sister-in-law Sanju, and their 5-year-old nephew Aarav. The accident occurred while they were en route to Noida, and it was reported that excessive speed led to a loss of control before the car collided with the dumper.

In the second incident in the Bela area, a motorcycle carrying three individuals returning from Etawah was struck by a pickup truck. The victims included Kamlesh (35), his wife Khushboo (32), and their daughter Khushi (6), all of whom died on the spot.

In another case, Santosh Dixit (55) from the EWS Gangapur Colony and his neighbor Ashok Soni (45) were involved in an accident while returning from offering prayers at Chandan Ghat around 6:30 PM. A truck rear-ended their motorcycle near Jajmau Chungi, causing Santosh to die instantly. Ashok was critically injured and transferred first to Kashiram Hospital and then to Halat Hospital, where he also succumbed to his injuries.
