The festive season in India is starting, leading to several state-specific holidays. Throughout September, banks across the country will be closed for 15 days due to festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Barawafat, and Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi. This includes holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays. 

Key dates when banks will be closed are:
- **September 1, 2024**: Banks will be closed nationwide due to Sunday.
- **September 4, 2024**: Banks in Guwahati will be closed for Srimanta Sankardev's Tirobhav Tithi.
- **September 7, 2024**: Banks will be closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Nagpur, and Panaji for Ganesh Chaturthi.
- **September 8, 2024**: Banks will be closed nationwide due to Sunday.
- **September 14, 2024**: Banks will be closed nationwide for the second Saturday.
- **September 15, 2024**: Banks will be closed nationwide due to Sunday.
- **September 16, 2024**: Banks will be closed in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Ranchi, Srinagar, and Trivandrum for Barawafat.
- **September 17, 2024**: Banks in Gangtok and Raipur will be closed for Milad-un-Nabi.
- **September 18, 2024**: Banks in Gangtok will be closed for Pang-Lhabsol.
- **September 20, 2024**: Banks in Jammu and Srinagar will be closed for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.
- **September 21, 2024**: Banks in Kochi and Trivandrum will be closed for Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Day.
- **September 22, 2024**: Banks will be closed nationwide due to Sunday.
- **September 23, 2024**: Banks in Jammu and Srinagar will be closed for Maharaja Hari Singh's birthday.
- **September 28, 2024**: Banks will be closed nationwide for the fourth Saturday.
- **September 29, 2024**: Banks will be closed nationwide due to Sunday.
