Leopard caught but then dies eventually, visuals emerge create controversy

A leopard was caught after much efforts in Sambhal of Uttar Pradesh but then something happened that led to the animal’s death.

It is learnt that the leopard somehow found its way into village Dhatra of Sambhal. While the people spotted the leopard in the farm outside, they tried to chase it which forced the animal into the house of one Ramkunwar Saini. The leopard eventually found its way into the toilet of the house where it was locked.

Soon enough the police and forest department was tipped off which sent in its personnel on the ground. During the rescue efforts, one police official got injured after which the leopard was caught and then suppressed using a cot upside down with police personnel standing on top.

Then some of the police officials opted to stand over it to ensure that the leopard does not move or hurt anyone. But it led to the leopard getting suffocated and dying eventually.
