K'taka BJP files police complaint against Rahul Gandhi, heres what former IPS officer explained

Karnataka BJP files a complaint against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of making divisive remarks targeting SC, ST, and OBC communities, potentially endangering India's unity and security. BJP leader Bhaskar Rao emphasizes the severity of the issue, seeking legal action against Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi

Karnataka BJP has gone ahead and filed a formal complaint with High Ground Police Station Police Inspector regarding Congress MP and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi "for making divisive and provocative remarks targeting the SC, ST and OBC communities, endangering India's internal security, sovereignty, unity and integrity." The state unit is seeking investigation into the statements and legal action for the same.

Speaking on the issue, BJP leader and former IPS & former Bengaluru Police Commissioner, Bhaskar Rao says, "Today, the BJP has filed a criminal complaint against LoP Rahul Gandhi, clearly spelling out offences of bringing divisiveness among communities, through his remarks against OBCs and SCs. He even made remarks in US that Sikhs are not safe in our country. These kinds of statements paint a very poor picture of the country by a person who is holding such an important position. When his own grandmother, Indira Gandhi was confronted on foreign soil, about how she arrested people here, she clearly said that these are all internal matters of the country...Rahul Gandhi should learn from his grandmother...We have given a complaint that he has brought about divisiveness and spread hatred among communities. The offence is non-bailable, cognisable and merits registration of an FIR."
