Congress leader Jitu Patwari, President of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee, visited Chhattisgarh and met with Congress legislator Devendra Yadav, who is currently incarcerated at Raipur Central Jail. During his visit, Patwari made several serious allegations against the BJP government in Chhattisgarh subsequently talking to media.

Upon arriving in Raipur, Patwari received a warm welcome from Congress supporters. He then proceeded to the Central Jail to meet with Yadav, accompanied by Chhattisgarh PCC Chief Deepak Baij and other Congress members.

Patwari accused the Chhattisgarh government of failing to address the perpetrators of the recent Baloda Bazaar violence, claiming that the main culprits linked to the BJP are still free. He asserted that the administration is attempting to shift the blame onto Yadav to cover up its failures. He expressed confidence that the courts will ultimately reveal the shortcomings of the government and its representatives in this case.

He criticized the BJP for not fulfilling the promises made during the 2023 elections, accusing them of engaging in authoritarian and vindictive politics. Patwari highlighted that Yadav's imprisonment is a result of this approach and reaffirmed Congress's commitment to fighting injustice in a Gandhian manner.

Regarding Yadav, Patwari stated that he embodies the Congress Party's ideals of national unity and sacrifice for the country. He referred to his own experience as a freedom fighter and expressed trust in the legal system, despite the government's failures. Patwari concluded that while the government tries to place the blame on Yadav, the court's eventual decision will clarify the situation.
