Israeli envoy issues video message, after reports of his abduction went viral

Oren Anolik, the Ambassador of Israel in Cyprus, has had to issue a video message after news reports circulated that he has been abducted.
"I am hearing that some fake news about me circulating. Let me assure you I am fine. It seems that someone came up with a very creative way to make the whole world call me and text me and wish me a happy new Jewish year!", he wrote on X while issuing a video message.
Tension has escalated between Israel and Iran after Tehran launched barrage of missiles towards Jewish state. Even as Israel claims to have been able to down most of the Iranian missiles, the situation is tense. Israel is likely to retaliate and force Iran to adopt even harsher posture.
