Key US official, Donald Lu, who is Assistant Secretary in State Department under the Biden administration, has confirmed that Israel Hamas war as well as Russia Ukraine conflict would figure prominently in the deliberations when US officials Antony Blinken, Lloyd Austin meet their counterparts, Dr Jaishankar and Rajnath Singh for a 2+2 format meet in Delhi.
The US official Lu pointed out that India’s stand is quite close to that of United States when it comes to Israel Hamas war which includes condemning terror attack on Israel and then trying to ensure prevention of outbreak of wider hostilities.
