It seems that the grand opposition alliance is in trouble as after Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party, it is the AAP party with which the grand old party is having war of words.
After Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s reported statement that both Congress and BJP are working in the same way, the Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai said to media, “I know that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is with BJP. When he came to contest elections in Varanasi in 2014, there were some arrangements. As far as I know, he’s working as Team B for BJP,”
That a senior Congress leader would allege AAP as team B for BJP is politically significant statement. This shows that while the AAP and Congress vow to be with the grand opposition alliance for the 2024 election against BJP, it seems that electoral seat sharing is making the two parties anxious and the leaders are not able to conceal it any longer.
