Nepal decides to ban Chinese app TikTok for encouraging a tendency of hate speech, the government said. A Cabinet meeting on Monday took the decision to ban the app.
The government sources blame the social media app for disrupting social harmony in the country. Effective from today, the ban on TikTok has been in view of the app distorting social harmony, promoting vulgarity and weakening national unity.
