Almost all the tickets for the India-South Africa match have already been sold. In such a situation, there is a possibility of around 70 thousand spectators being present in the stadium during the match. In such a situation, the Bengal Cricket Association has prepared to distribute Virat Kohli’s mask to all the spectators for free.
Apart from distributing masks with Kohli’s face, the Cricket Association of Bengal has also planned to cut a cake before the match and honor Kohli by giving him a souvenir. CAB President Snehasish Ganguly said in the press conference that we are hopeful of getting approval from ICC on this. We want to make this day special for Kohli.
He further said, “We want every fan present in the stadium during the match to come inside wearing a Kohli mask. We also plan to distribute about 70 thousand masks on that day. The Bengal Cricket Association organized a similar event in November 2013 when Sachin Tendulkar played his 199th Test match.
Virat Kohli:-
His performance in this World Cup was excellent. He has scored one century and three half-centuries in 6 matches. He scored his 48th century in the match against Bangladesh. In Kolkata, he will have a chance to equal Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries.
Fans are very excited to see a cricketing legend surpass another legend’s milestone. And there will be more happier moment than this when an Indian breaks an Indian’s record
Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Rizwan looked very cheerful during the practice session before the Bangladesh match at Eden Gardens.
