In Pakistan for SCO meet, EAM Jaishankar goes for morning walk, posts pic
Pakistani media is making all kinds of noises over the visit of Dr S Jaishankar, the India's EAM, to Islamabad, a first after nine years of lull in between. But it appears Jaishankar is unfazed with all this media attention, possibly because he is used to it now.
Having spelled clearly that he is not visiting Pakistan for any bilateral and merely to participate in SCO Heads of Government meeting, thus far he has kept his word. It is quite remarkable that rather than spending time with Pakistani leaders, Jaishankar found it more useful to take a morning walk in the embassy ground.
Jaishankar has been maintaining a hardline against Pakistan and terrorism emanating from this territory. He has been saying that terror and trade cannot go together and that the only issue pending between India and Pakistan is that of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir which needs to be restored with India.
