Before the Jharkhand Assembly elections, former Chief Minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Champai Soren has stirred political circles with his recent tweet, leaving many speculating about his next move. Champai Soren has now made a new announcement: he will not retire from politics and plans to form a new party. He has also left the door open for potential alliances. Soren stated, "I had outlined three options—retirement, organization, or friends. I will not retire. I will strengthen the party and create a new one."

The former Chief Minister emphasized, "I will not be retiring from politics. I had three options: retirement, organization, or friends. I choose to build the party and start a new one, and if I find a good ally along the way, I will move forward with them."

Champai Soren has taken a proactive stance in the political arena, declaring his intention to establish a new organization following his return from Delhi. He mentioned that the complete picture would become clear within a week. Supporters have been gathering at his residence in Seraikela since late last night.

After his return from Delhi, Soren made it clear that his future plans would soon be revealed. Early this morning, a large number of supporters congregated at his residence. Following discussions with his supporters, Soren is visiting various locations to meet them. He has privately expressed that the level of humiliation he faced after becoming Chief Minister is beyond description.

On the other hand, it is being said that the BJP is currently in a "wait and watch" mode regarding the developments involving former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren. Soren's recent announcement about forming a new organization or aligning with new allies has drawn the attention of BJP leaders, who see potential advantages for their party in both scenarios.

On Tuesday, the party’s core committee discussed the situation involving Champai Soren. The meeting, which included key figures such as Election In-Charge Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Co-In-Charge Himanta Biswa Sarma, focused on strategizing around this issue.

The BJP is also keeping a close watch on the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's (JMM) official stance and any potential actions the state government might take against Soren. With a cabinet meeting scheduled for August 29, the BJP will be monitoring all related activities closely.
