IED blast claims one woman, out in forest, in Sukma

A tragic incident occurred in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, where a woman lost her life due to an IED blast planted by Naxalites. The explosion has caused panic in the area. The incident took place in the Dabamarka village under the Kistaram police station's jurisdiction. According to reports, Kavasi Sukki, a resident of Dabamarka village, had gone to graze her cattle on Sunday. While walking along a forest trail, she accidentally triggered a pressure IED planted by Naxalites, resulting in a powerful explosion that killed her instantly. The blast caused widespread alarm, and local residents rushed to the scene. The police were informed shortly after. The incident occurred around 5 PM on Sunday, and Sukma's ASP Nikhil Rakheja confirmed the incident.
