A police constable was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident in Nangloi, Delhi, after being struck by a speeding WagonR. The shocking event was captured on CCTV and has since gone viral, revealing the harrowing moments leading up to the accident.The incident occurred early Sunday morning when Constable Sandeep, who was in plain clothes, was patrolling the area due to a recent spike in robbery cases. He noticed a reckless driver and attempted to signal them to slow down. Instead of complying, the driver accelerated, colliding with Sandeep's motorcycle and dragging him for nearly 10 meters before crashing into another stationary vehicle.

Despite being rushed to Sonia Hospital and later transferred to Balaji Hospital in West Vihar, Sandeep succumbed to severe head injuries. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Jimmy Chiram, stated that the two occupants of the WagonR fled the scene but have since been identified. The car has been recovered, and a murder case has been registered as investigations continue.Sandeep, a 30-year-old officer from Rohtak, is survived by his mother, wife, and five-year-old son. His untimely death has left his family devastated.
