Hit and run case, Man, family sustain injuries, in Nagpur
A man, his wife, and their child sustained injuries in a hit-and-run accident in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The family was sitting in their parked vehicle when a speeding car collided with them from behind.
The car involved in the incident, which carried five occupants, was unable to move after the crash. The driver of the offending vehicle then fled the scene. The police have registered a hit-and-run case and are investigating the incident.
The injured family was taken to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the car, unable to restart the vehicle, abandoned the scene, leaving the injured family behind.
This incident in Nagpur follows a high-profile hit-and-run case from about two months ago, where a speeding Porsche, driven by a 17-year-old, crashed into a motorcycle, resulting in the deaths of two young tech professionals and sparking nationwide outrage.
