Former SDM Nisha Bangre visited the residence of state Congress chief Kamal Nath in Chhindwara.
She told the media, “I was told that they would wait for my resignation. Now that I have resigned, I have come here to speak with Kamal Nath as to what he wants. I met him in the evening and he told me that he would have to speak to people in Delhi and Bhopal. So, I have come here once again. Umeed par toh duniya kayam hai…”.
It need be recalled that it took four months of wait, court orders and a long march that the resignation of Nisha Bangre from administrative services was accepted by the Madhya Pradesh government.
It is learnt that Congress has fielded its candidate from Amla legislative segment and this is where Nisha Bangre was hoping to contest from. She was also hoping that Congress would field her as candidate. She is now said to be contemplating on contesting as an independent candidate.
