Haryana Assembly elections, Congress first list out, Vinesh Phogat fielded from Julana seat
The Congress party has announced its first list of candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. Wrestler Vinesh Phogat will contest from the Julana seat, while former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda is running from Garhi Sampla-Kiloli.
This list includes 32 candidates, with 29 sitting MLAs being renominated. Notably, Ram Karan, a former member of Dushyant Chautala's JJP, has been fielded from the same seat he previously represented. The elections will be held on October 5, with results to be declared on October 8.
