In Patna, the capital of Bihar, a tragic incident involving the suicide of an Andhra Pradesh student has come to light. The student, identified as Pallavi, was in her second year studying Computer Electronics at the National Institute of Technology (NIT). Friends of Pallavi report that she seemed happy throughout the day, raising questions about why she would take such a drastic step.

After receiving news of the incident, the police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation. Students on campus have been protesting vigorously, demanding a thorough inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Pallavi’s death. They expressed their grievances against the college administration and have been holding demonstrations.

According to statements given to the police by her friends, Pallavi was cheerful and with them just the day before the incident, which has left them puzzled about her sudden decision. They described her as a bright and lively individual who excelled in her studies.

The protests have escalated, with students marching outside the campus and chanting slogans. In response to the unrest, police forces have been deployed to manage the situation. On Friday night, Pallavi, a 19-year-old from Andhra Pradesh, reportedly committed suicide in her hostel room at the NIT's Bihta campus. When news of her death reached the students, chaos ensued on campus.

Bihata police officer Rajkumar Pandey stated that they received a report around 10:30 PM regarding the incident. Upon arrival, they found that the hostel management had taken Pallavi to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Students residing in the hostel have alleged that the college administration attempted to downplay the incident. They claim that after Pallavi was found hanging, hostel authorities confined them to their rooms, raising further concerns about the handling of the situation.
