Freight train derails, route gets affected, first visuals emerge
Rail traffic was disrupted at Bhiwani station in the Bikaner division due to a freight train derailing. As a result, the North Western Railway has rerouted several trains and partially canceled others. Notably, last month on the night of July 21, three wagons of a freight train derailed near Tijara Gate, about 3 kilometers from Alwar railway station, leading to the cancellation of all trains on that route.
Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, reported that several wagons of the freight train at Bhiwani Junction went off the tracks, affecting numerous trains on this route. The Bhiwani-Rewari (04787) train will be canceled on Thursday, and seven other trains of North Western Railway will be partially canceled. Additionally, routes for four trains heading to Jaipur have been altered. Railway officials have assured that the track will be repaired and services will resume soon.
