The central government has approved the establishment of four new Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) in Chhattisgarh. These schools will be set up in Mungeli, Surajpur, Bemetara, and Hasaud in Janjgir-Champa district. The announcement has been warmly received, with Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the approval.
High-Quality Education for Chhattisgarh Students
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai highlighted the significance of the decision, stating, "The establishment of these new Kendriya Vidyalayas will provide students in Chhattisgarh access to high-quality and modern education. Kendriya Vidyalayas are renowned for their innovative teaching methods and state-of-the-art infrastructure, offering a conducive environment for academic excellence."
Sai further emphasized that the schools will create opportunities for talented students to thrive academically and help elevate the education standards in the state.
Part of a Nationwide Initiative
The decision to open new Kendriya Vidyalayas in Chhattisgarh is part of a larger initiative approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The committee has sanctioned the opening of 85 new Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country, aiming to provide better educational infrastructure to students nationwide.
A Boost for Education in Chhattisgarh
The opening of these four schools is expected to benefit thousands of students in Chhattisgarh, particularly in regions that have been seeking advanced educational facilities. The Kendriya Vidyalayas, known for their national curriculum and holistic approach, are expected to attract students seeking quality education and prepare them for competitive futures.
This move aligns with the government’s commitment to improving access to education and ensuring high standards in teaching and learning across the country.
