An Italian national was found dead in his hotel room in Jagdalpur of Chhattisgarh on Friday night. It emerged that the foreigner was serving in some capacity in the NMDC steel plant and was staying at this hotel.
It was when he did not open the room door that staffers got suspicious and eventually tipped off the police about the situation. Police then in the presence of very many of the acquaintences of the Italian man forced open the door of the hotel room but found him dead on the bed.
Police suspects that the man may have suffered heart attack while in sleep and thus ended up dead but is awaiting post mortem report for clarity on what could have happened.
While the police is not suspecting any foul play in the preliminary probe, the Italian national has been identified as More Francisco.
