Fire Breaks Out at Pune's Mandai Metro Station, No Injuries Reported
A fire broke out at Pune’s Mandai Metro Station just past midnight, triggered by foam material catching fire during welding work on the ground floor.
Five fire tenders were swiftly dispatched to the scene, and the blaze was brought under control within five minutes. Fortunately, no one was injured, and metro services remained unaffected.
Local MP and Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol confirmed the fire had been extinguished and reassured the public that the incident occurred after passenger services had ended, causing no disruptions to metro operations.
