CISF Constable Kulwinder Kaur, who gained media prominence for allegedly slapping and heckling actress and MP Kangana Ranaut, has been reinstated in the CISF after suspension and transferred to Bengaluru from Chandigarh Airport.

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable Kulwinder Kaur was suspended after she allegedly slapped BJP MP Kangana Ranaut at the Chandigarh airport last month.

CISF suspended Kulwinder Kaur and launched an internal inquiry against her. A case of assault was also registered against Kaur at the Airport Police Station after the incident.

It was reported that Kaur allegedly slapped Ranaut when the newly elected Parliamentarian was going to board a flight to Delhi from the airport on June 6. After the incident, Kulwinder Kaur alleged she was angry at Kangana over her statements on farmers during the farmers’ protest against the now-scrapped farm laws.

In a video message after the incident, Kangana Ranaut confirmed that she was slapped by the constable.
