Elon Musk congratulates PM Modi, heres what he wrote on X

Elon Musk, CEO and billionaire owner of social media platform X (formerly Twitter), extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for becoming the most followed world leader on the platform.

"Congratulations PM @NarendraModi on being the most followed world leader!" Musk tweeted on X.

PM Modi recently reached 100 million followers on X, positioning him as the second most-followed global politician after former US President Barack Obama, who boasts over 131 million followers. Following Obama is the third-ranked Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for the 2024 elections, with more than 87 million followers on X.

In terms of overall followers on X, Elon Musk leads with over 190 million followers, securing the top spot globally. PM Modi's achievement surpasses other notable figures including US President Joe Biden, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Hillary Clinton in terms of follower count.

Reflecting on his milestone, PM Modi expressed gratitude on X, stating, "A hundred million on @X! I'm happy to be on this vibrant medium and cherish the discussion, debate, insights, people’s blessings, constructive criticism, and more. Looking forward to an equally engaging time in the future as well."

PM Modi's significant following on X also surpasses that of renowned global celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and Kim Kardashian, as well as prominent athletes like Virat Kohli, Neymar Jr, and LeBron James.
