As the voting day of Nov 17 nears, political campaign is picking up and the leaders from different political parties are speaking on host of issues.
Speaking to the media in Bilaspur, the Chhattisgarh’s Deputy CM and Congress leader TS Singh Deo said, ” Congress has decided that it will fight the elections on joint leadership and this will be led by sitting CM Bhupesh Baghel…we are doing all the work together…if we win the elections, why can’t the captain (Bhupesh Baghel) get the first preference? He is the first one on the line so if others are considered, that will be after him only”
It need be mentioned that Congress came to power in Chhattisgarh back in year 2018 on substantial majority but then the speculations picked up that there is an understanding amid Bhupesh Baghel and TS Singhdeo that the two would take turns to become CM of the state.
