In Jaipur of Rajasthan, the potters are making the earthen lamps ahead of the upcoming Diwali festival.

“The market is better this year compared to last year. Demand for Chinese lanterns has reduced and Diyas are being sold more…we usually stop work at least 5-6 days ahead of Diwali but this year, even now we are making diyas because of the demand…”, says Mukesh Prajapat, a potter.
