Delhi police detains man for pro-Pakistan slogans on flat's wall
Delhi police have detained a man for putting up posters hailing Pakistan on the wall of his flat in Rohini. According to initial investigations, the man is mentally unstable and lives alone in his flat. The police have seized the objectionable posters and banners.
Acting on information from locals, the Delhi Police detained the man following a complaint about the slogans supporting Pakistan written on his flat's wall. A senior police official stated, "We received information from locals that a man in the Avantika C-Block area of Rohini had written slogans supporting Pakistan on a wall of his flat."
The initial investigation suggested that the man is not mentally stable and stays alone in the flat. The police are investigating any potential connections the detainee might have with Pakistan or any group and have contacted his family members for more information.
The police have seized all objectionable posters and banners found in his flat. Some videos have also emerged on social media showing locals pointing out the posters on his wall. The investigation is ongoing.
